Meet the Man with the Midas Touch - Oladipupo Atoloye Esq.



Olatunji Oladipupo Atoloye was born to the family of Late Hon.(Chief) Akintoye  Atoloye and Mrs. Kanyisola Atoloye (nee Shonubi) both from Ikorodu, Lagos State.

His father was a former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, from October 1983 – December 1983 and the first Executive Chairman of Ikorodu West L.C.D.A.


He attended Jehovah Jireh Primary School Mosalashi, Mushin, Lagos from 1984-1986 before relocating to Ikorodu. He completed his Primary School education at Anglican Primary School Ikorodu, Lagos in 1989.

He attended Lagos State Model College Igbokuta Ikorodu, Lagos State for his secondary education between1990-1995.

He was admitted to study law at the Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos State and graduated in 2001 with a second class lower division.

He proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Enugu Campus, Enugu State for his professional programme and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2003.

He is presently a student member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators United Kingdom.

During his National Youth Service he worked as Junior Counsel with the law firms of C.L. Iroka & Co., 188, Azikiwe Road, Aba, Abia State and Musa M. Tolani & Co., 13, Factory Road Aba, Abia State respectively.            

He was also the Coordinator of the NYSC Legal Aid Scheme for both Aba North and Aba South Local Governments.

After his NYSC, he worked briefly with the law firm of Segun Sipeolu and Associates OPIC Plaza Ikeja, Lagos from November 2004-December 2004 before joining the firm of K.O. Tinubu & Co. 213, Igbosere Road, Lagos from January 2005 till date.

He is presently a Senior Associate Counsel in the firm of K.O. Tinubu & Co.

He held the following positions during his University days:-

1.         Director of Protocols Lagos State University Law Students Society 1997/98 Session.

2.         General Secretary Christian Law Students’ Fellowship of Nigeria (CLASFON) 1998/99 Session.

3.         Publicity and Organizing Secretary Christian Law Students’ Fellowship of Nigeria (CLASFON) 1999/2000 Session.

4.         Judge Lagos State University Students Judicial Council 1999/2000 Session.

5.         Chief Judge Lagos State University Students Judicial Council 2000/2001 Session.

He is the Legal Adviser to the Methodist Church Nigeria Diocese of Ikorodu and Ikorodu Circuit respectively.

He acts as Company Secretaries to the following companies - Seraville Properties Limited, Phoenix Global Capital Markets Limited, PG Infrastructure Limited, Arated Construction Consulting Limited, Ethan Associates Limited, Blue Heron Limited, Carollan Investments Limited, Tovalion Integrated Services Limited and Alabukun – Oil Limited to mention a few.

He enjoy travelling, listening to music and watching sports particularly football is happily married.

MY PROMISE TO THE PEOPLE OF CONSTITUENCY 1

•          Influencing legislations aimed at improving the work/life balance of Lagosians.

•          Qualitative representation at the Lagos State House of Assembly.

•          Effective feed back through periodic ward tours and town hall meetings.

•          Knowledge-based and functional oversight on the executive arm with the aim of delivering value to the constituents.

•          Empowerment of the people through direct intervention in facilitating training, education and job creation opportunities for them through our schools and vocation centres.

•          Enhancement of preventive and primary healthcare through equipping of existing healthcare centres and establishment of more through private sector participation.

•          Operation of an interactive, functional constituency office to improve on access between constituents and their representatives at the Assembly.

•          Operation of a fully interactive constituency website to further improve access of the people, and encourage interaction among them.

•          Interaction with the Local government councils in delivering their services to the people.

His slogan Saa jo se saa jo ma jee (we did it together and we shall reap the benefit together).


By working together, I know that we can make Ikorodu Constituency 1 better than we ever could have imagined.
