Nigerian Creative Industry Never got it so Good

Today, 15th December 2014, at the Berkeley Hotels in GRA Ikeja, Lagos, game changers and the creative industry major players gathered for a tete-a-tete with creative specialists and practitioners. The event was hosted by GenTalk and sponsored by British Council, a sure supporter of the creative industry in Nigeria.
It was an expository and mind blowing two-throng event that started with training by Mr. Ifeanyi Enukorah tagged: Leadership and Influencing Skills, Negotiation Skills, Building Systems to Drive Policy Advocacy.

The training session was followed by a panel discussion which involved a panel of people from different sectors in the creative industry, who shared ideas, experiences and recommendations on the growth strategy for the Nigerian Creative Economy.

The panel consisted of ground breaking and miles covering creative entrepreneurs that shared their rough and tough routes to industry recognition. Amongst them are: Chris Ihidero, Ralph Nwadike, Wole Oguntokun, Oscar Oyinsan, Femi Ogunsanwo and others. It was a great event which generated several mind boggling and thought provoking questions at the end which the panelist had to answer during the question and answer segment.

It was not just another event, it was one which saw several contacts being made, network was easy and idea planted. Below are pictures of the event. The unsung hero or heroine as the case may be would be Miss Naomi Lucas who didn’t say a word during the event but was the brain behind the smooth running of the activity of the day.

Below are the pictures from the event.
