WORLD CUP COACHES AND THEIR SALARIES


The Mundial fever is already catching people across the globe and the world can feel it from Brazil to Salvador, Croatia through Uzbekistan. People glued to their TV till odd hours just to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars and their superb skills, exceptional goals, Suarez controversies and England’s dismal performances.


It sure has been a roller coaster but what interest me the most is the salaries paid to the 32 coaches that led teams to the World Cup. Interestingly, the top 3 paid coaches have crashed out of the competition while the least paid are still thriving.


Our own Stephen Keshi, coach of the Super Eagles is being paid a meager $300k and we have news that he’s even being owed salaries up to 6 months in arrears. We hope this news is false though because that would be a shame.
