EDWARD SNOWDEN IS TO AMERICA WHAT ALBERT EINSTEIN WAS TO GERMANY

In the wake of the disillusioned figure, Edward Snowden trying to decipher his place in the psychoanalytic world of right and wrong; rights of one country snitching on the whole world in the guise of intelligence, self defense and the wrongs when such one country lay hands on information that threatens the sovereignty of another/other country(ies).

This write up was inspired by Vladmir Putin’s recent assertion that the internet was created by the CIA to snitch on everyone; a statement that very much may mean that Russia is thinking of going blackout on internet. That part of the gist will come at a later day, however, for now, I am more inspired to write on the relationship/similarities of event, persons and history between the great American whistle blower Edward Snowden and German outcast Albert Einstein.
Einstein was born into a Jewish family in Germany in 1879, a physicist of repute who developed the theory of relativity. Edward Snowden, a super computer geek who rose in rank swiftly without formal education in the NSA computer projects. They both wanted to live a normal life; get married, work and earn a decent living. Fate thought otherwise. Both are distanced by time and age but connected by similar hubris circumstances.

Einstein woke up one morning to a cruel discovery that the Nazi controlled Germany had finalised plans to assassinate him simply because he is JEW.
“1920s, the Nazis were rising to power under the leadership of Adolph Hitler. Einstein’s theories on relativity became a convenient target for Nazi propaganda. In 1931, the Nazi’s enlisted other physicists to denounce Einstein and his theories as "Jewish physics." At this time, Einstein learned that the new German government, now in full control by the Nazi party, had passed a law barring Jews from holding any official position, including teaching at universities. Einstein also learned that his name was on a list of assassination targets and a Nazi organization published a magazine with Einstein's picture and the caption "Not yet hanged" on the cover.”

Snowden, had a similar experience. Born in North Carolina but grew up in Maryland, he was a smart ass guy with nick for computers. But he quickly grew disillusioned because he had always felt that the America he knew, that is like a Big Brother, safe guarding the whole world from threat and terror is actually the one creating a template for threat and terror. He felt like a part of the deceit. In his words "I don't want to live in a society that does these sort of things… I do not want to live in a world where everything I do and say is recorded."

So Einstein switched allegiance from Nazi Germany to America, the emerging world power at the time. Snowden switches allegiance from espionage encouraged USA to “supposed” recent world power Russia. Both bound by inept desire to pursue truth, freedom and a society that respects them and others. But the new countries they decided to switch to, how truthful are they to truth, freedom and respect? Not long after, America used the same atomic technology as propounded by Einstein, kept away from the Nazi’s to attack Hiroshima, Japan. The very terror he hoped against, the threat he thought the good faceted America would never perpetuate.

I am almost sure Edward Snowden will be wreathing in pain when he switches on his TV and watch everyday how Putin’s actions and inactions are about to cause us WW3.
There are no sane societies anywhere. Some create the illusion and make us believe they that the wrong things they do are to make their society right. How does much wrong output as right? How do you justify snitching on everyone; from Merkel to Cameron, Istanbul to Abuja? And you expect the world to believe in this charade of a campaign?

Einstein is to Nazi Germany what Snowden is to America. They thought with their switching of allegiance and change of citizenship, they were doing the right thing. Hey, you guys did more damage than good. Ask Hiroshima and Ukraine.
