FARES HIKED 100 PERCENT AS FUEL SCARCITY PERSIST

The fuel scarcity that have persisted into day two have caused bus fare to increase by a whooping 100 percent. Bus fare from Ojuelegba to Maryland used to be 100 naira
, this morning increased to 200 naira. Mile 2 to Oshodi is now 200 naira, what used to be between a 100 naira and 150 naira. Iyana Ipaja to Oshodi is 300 naira, what used to be 150 naira. Surulere to the Island is 250 naira, what used to be between 100 and 150 naira.

Commuters are seen all over bus stops in Lagos loitering and waiting for cheaper buses to come. Mike Atols spoke to some and they are very bitter while some complained of Government insensitivity to the plight of the masses. Infact, one Mr. Armstrong Ilile alluded to the fact that President Jonathan made fuel scarce so as to divert attention away from the $20 billion Dollars probe by the Senate.

How long will this continue? Nigerians hope it will not be long at all
