I have watched in movies how a guy will be so convinced that his relationship is tight and he goes ahead to propose to her lady and she goes like "John, you know I love you but…" Ouch! I can't even stand that scene in the movies not to talk of it in reality. How do you propose to your woman and get her to say YES? Here are the 3 tips!

1)        MAKE SURE SHE LOVES YOU MORE: Yeah right! If you want to propose, be sure she is into you more than you are into her. If you do your research well and get your lady to talk often, you can get her to tell if she loves you more. Also from her character, you would be able to observe when she would have sacrificed more for the relationship, ready to do stuffs for you even before asking and ready to take initiatives to make the relationship better. It usually don’t work out fine when the guy loves the girl more. Ladies date more than one guy at a time (don’t frown, yea they do. Though it is more of a mind thing), they are in a relationship with a guy yet they fantasise about a movie actor, a guy down the street or just some random dude that appeal to them at some point in time. Ladies even have the guts to tell their fiancé "wow, look at that guys abs", and I'm like whatthaf**k? So you see reasons why she needs to be more in love with you because then alone will she overlook those other options she's got and stick just with you?

2)        TALK ABOUT MARRIAGE A LOT BEFORE YOU: Before you propose, make sure you have exhaustively talked about marriage. Make sure you know her point of view about marriage, weddings and family; her plans for the future and what type of husband she wants. This will inform your decision whether she is the one or not. And if she is not the one, save yourself the stress. If her dreams are to pursue a Masters Degree or build a 15 year career and that's what occupy your discussions every time you guys talk, don’t be a learner, she's not ready for the BIG question. Save yourself the stress. Or she is dating you yet she tells you her husband must be a medical doctor, drive a Ferrari and be able to buy her Peruvian wig, yet you are a civil servant earning N66, 650 per month and you hope she can be your wife? 3)        PROPOSE IN A PATENTED SPOT OR ACT: Now that shouldn't be hard to do. You guys must have dated for a while and by now you must have known her fave artiste, her fave spot, her fave cousins, her fave food, her fave everything (if you don’t know all this, means you self no try). You can ask a guy to come play the guitar while you sing your proposal to her (or just do it yourself like I might *wink*), you can take her to her fave restaurant and plan with the manager of the place.
