Buhari Releases List of Ministers

According to sources close to the new president-elect, the list of ministers to be appointed have been making the rounds amongst friends and close media associates. Political lobbyist and supporters of the new regime (if I can call it that)
are not resting on their oars as they keep on bombarding the newly elected General Buhari but he is said to be bent on nominating and forwarding names of technocrats that he believes are driven by the desire to restore the dream of the founding fathers and also share modest lifestyle of the General himself.

According to Omojuwa on his website; the following names are not going to be left behind when the final list will be sent to the New National Assembly for approval. Tam David West (Minister of Petroleum), Dr. Kalu Idika (Minister of Finance), Rotimi Akeredolu (Attorney General of the Federation), former Minister of Sports Abdullahi Bolaji (for same position), Sam Ndah Isaiah, former presidential aspirant of APC (Minister of Education) and Governor Raji Babatunde Fashola (Minister of FCT).

"It was gathered that while GMB will not stand against the APC that won him the Presidency, he has resolved to pick technocrats and people who he trust to run his most important ministries" Omojuwa further posited. According to GMB, David West is incorruptible, frugal and loyal even in trying times. To handle the not so rosy Defence portfolio, GMB is considering General Garba as National Security Adviser and General Cyril Iweze, a then young Igbo officer who served directly under Buhari in the  First Division before the Nigerian Civil War may lead the operation against Boko Haram.

General Cyril is a decorated soldier with accolades as the leading officer to Liberia under the ECOMOG arrangement and also he is reputed to have given the Maitetasene Sect hell in the defunct Gongola State now Borno.

We are awaiting the final list with bated breath.
