The burial arrangement
of iconic filmmaker and Nollywood stalwart, Amaka Igwe has been announced.
The late
Mrs. Igwe, who passed away on April 28 after a bout with Asthma, will be laid
to rest on Friday, June 13th 2014 at Ndiuche Arondizuogu in Imo State.
Other
arrangements include a tribute evening and Lagos Service of Songs at Haven
Gardens G.R.A Ikeja on the 9th of June, and Enugu Service of Songs at Okpara
Square, Enugu on the 12th of June, 2014.
A tribute
website, www.amakaigwe.ng, has also been created in her honour and will contain
goodwill messages from Facebook and Twitter.
She is
survived by her husband, Charles Igwe, three children, an aged mother and
siblings and will forever be remembered for her contributions to the society.
