ON MADRID'S LA DECIMA AND ARSENAL'S 10 YEAR TROPHY DROUGHT

I am a fan of the beautiful game called football. I love to watch and at a point in time I even pundit(ted) (I am hiding under poetic licence, if you like laugh) on a social website. I am an unapologetic arsenal fan and if you had been in my shoes for the past few years, you would have experienced bashing and abuses of the highest order.

We are constantly being tongue lashed and taunted (appallingly by club fans of Chelsea and Man City; clubs with pedigree for mediocrity and trophilessness till money exchanged hands sometime around 2004 and 2009 respectively) about +Arsenal's inability to win trophies and at the beginning of this season, they said we would be relegated after the Aston Villa match.

The problem however is a good problem because unlike teams like Aston Villa and co that have tasted European glory yet meander in football abyss and mediocrity (yet no one accuses them of not winning trophies), it shows that everyone can see the potentials in every Arsenal team reeled out by Monsieur Wenger every season but just gets frustrated by their final cutting edge needed to win major trophies.

+Arsenal therefore is a victim of it's own successes. 13 Premier League cups, 4 FA's, 10 Carling, 2 European Cups are trophies in the cabinet begging for more to join them. Like @PiersMorgan said on his twitter handle the day Arsenal celebrated Wenger's 1000 game as coach of the prestigious club, "500 games, wenger won 7 cups and 500 games after he has won NOTHING" (I paraphrased), it leaves nothing to admire in a club that sold off marquee players in their prime.

So, will this FA cup final mark the end to +Arsenal's trophy drought or will Hull City be the clog in the wheel to the club's aspiration for glory? We can only wait and see. Walcott as lent his voice to the wishes in the public dormain for a big bang end to Arsenal's season with an FA cup win and hopes that will open the palette for more thirst of glory.

...IN OTHER NEWS.

Madrid clubs are in the Champions League final and guess what? I want +Real Madrid C.F. to win LA DECIMA. They deserve a glorious end especially with the slip up on La Liga to either +FC Barcelona or +Athletic Club. So, just like it happened in 2002 when they slipped up in the race to Liga glory but ended up with the Champions League trophy in their cabinet, with Zidane scoring a sumptuous half volley, maybe, just maybe +Cristiano Ronaldo can be the hero this time around and prove that he deserved the Balon D'Or for the 3rd time.

Hala Madrid. Go +GarethBaleTheBest
