APC Changed The Game Completely by choosing Osinbajo
I like to talk politics but I don’t like to write it. People like
myself are regarded as ‘armchair’ analyst and one with limited knowledge on the
subject. That set aside, if you have to talk about Nigerian politics, even
armchair analyst have a good knowledge and sense of what could be if you open
your eyes very well. What is there that is hard to say. Didn’t we hear and didn’t
they confirm that $9.3 million was on a flight to South Africa? Have we heard
the last of it? NO.

The Jealous Ex-Fiance and a deadly Acid Bath (Viewers Discretion Advised)
The doctor and nurses are running frantically through the hospital aisle,
down the lobby and through other available paths scaring other patients and
family. A man with an acid bath might be losing his life and since the owner of the specialist hospital and doctor
had vowed that they would never allow a soul die an avoidable death in their hospital this year, they didn’t want to leave anything to chance.

Nigerian Creative Industry Never got it so Good
Today, 15th December 2014, at the Berkeley Hotels in GRA Ikeja, Lagos, game changers and the creative industry major players
gathered for a tete-a-tete with creative specialists and practitioners. The event
was hosted by GenTalk and sponsored by British Council, a sure supporter of the
creative industry in Nigeria.

Take a Risk Now!
Sitting here at the Westown Hotel off Sheraton opebi link road Ikeja for the British Council Creative Industries Expo 2014, I flash back few weeks back when I could never have been 'allowed' to attend such expository and self improving seminar because I should be in the office observing the rituals that will drop meager stipends into my salary account.

If the Future could be seen...
"The promise given was a necessity of the past: the word broken is a necessity of the present". Nicollo Machiavelli
Deep in the mind, the palpitations of failure is almost as loud as the beat of assured success and it has come to my notice that both must go hand in cheek till 'expected end'. The promise of good reward for persistent passion is but for the forlorn trench of a crazy heart. You need to be crazy so as to remain sane in the society of today.

If You win $4 Million Dollars, What will You do?
Imagine you wake up one morning and got the news that you
just won $4 million? What will be your reaction? When I calculated that in Nigerian
Naira, we got N640 million (N640, 000, 000.00) at the rate of N160 per dollar.
WOW! My first reaction was that, ‘that is the budget of some states in Nigeria
for the month and imagine the overheads and capital projects they need to pay
for?’, lol.

Single @ 40? (Part 2)
So I wrote this piece where I tried to give personal opinion
on public radio activity and for the first time (not in my life actually)
someone wrote me through my linkedin page (at hindsight, I’m grateful that she didn't put it on my page or comment section for public viewing, I for cry… lol) criticizing my style of writing and blamed me for
the problem in Nigeria… huh, like seriously?

The Voice
Today is exactly that type of day that I don’t feel like
doing anything. I don’t feel like writing, I don’t feel like singing and I don’t
even feel like thinking. I have been exhausted from the event of yesterday and I
just want to sit in the office and loiter around the internet, feeding my brain
with all the information I can get my hands and eyes on. I am currently playing
gospel mix from YouTube and I feel some kind of presence following me, deep
inside of me that I can’t explain.

Single at 40? What were You Waiting for?
I am an ardent listener of Inspiration Fm 92.3 but that is
partly because I was lured there by my best OAP so far, Dan Foster. And since he
left and started City FM, I have been glued to the station because of its
family orientation and the other fantastic OAP’s like Wana Wizzle, CharlesDallas, Eyo Henry, Ruffy da Fire and Ayo the sportscaster that are doing great just to mention a few.

When He acts Up, it's Time to ‘Turn Up’ – Ladies Please!
Anwuli’s first sight of him was in
a party and he didn’t mince words when he walked up to her demanding to speak
to her. ‘You are a stranger as far as I am concerned and I can’t just give you
my number’, she posited after several minutes of him trying. Despite her
resistance, Ejima won’t bulge. He kept pressing but in such a pleasant way that
Anwuli suddenly began to enjoy his company.

3 Ways You can avoid Cultist Advances in Public Universities (Part 2)
I am sure you have read the story of Alawunmi Femi, the cultist that
claimed to have killed 60 people? If you haven’t read that you can check it up
HERE. Let me quickly discuss the 3 ways you can identify cult guys and avoid
their (sometimes coy) tactics to get you into the fold. These are the things I employed
when it became apparent that I might be caught between the devil and the deep
blue sea.

If You Keep waiting for your Dream Job, it just might Pass you by
Tunde graduated in 2009 from the University and since then he
has roamed the street of Lagos searching for a job. He registered with agents and
middlemen who promised him job in big multinationals or banks across the
nation. All they did was collect his money and kept sending information that’s
either incomplete or totally fraudulent.

If I were a Briton, I will be Hostile to You too
Sometime few months back, I chatted with a friend Elaine SWilson on Facebook or should I say argued with her. She is a British citizen
residing in the UK and our conversation was brutally plain. She could not
comprehend, alongside other British nationals, why nationals from other country
(apparently third world countries) would want to come to the UK for greener
pasture.

The 3 ‘D’s Marriage turns her into – Ladies Please!
I am still surprised how my last post ‘3 Things Marriage Turns You Into – For Men Only’ got so much unique clicks and this reflected in
comments left behind. A lot of people called me up and spoke glowingly about my
writing prowess whilst others chatted me up on BBM saying something similar. In
fact I met a new lady on twitter that loved my blog and we have been chatting
since Friday.

The Private Jet Conversation: Nigeria in Ruins
As they sat in the private jet, he called out to the Israeli
at the back to be certain that he hasn't dozed off again. “Josef, are you okay?”
‘Yes I am’, Josef responded with some kind of sigh in his voice. He had a gut feeling that something is wrong somewhere. He had been brought into
the deal just to make the South African government think it is legitimate but
he could sense mischief in the air.

MY JOURNEY: THE CHRONICLES OF A’TONE (part 2) conclusion
Dear child,
To conclude my chronicles to you, I have to let you know how I
dealt with women. The ladies in my life were respected and loved. I would not
say I was the best man they could ever have but trust me; a 100% of the ones I left
or that left me wanted me back after the break-up. Why? Because I learnt never
to shut the door every time I, or, they walked out!

ON DIVORCE AND THE DOCTRINES THAT SUITS MEN (OF GOD)
My favorite lecturer Tunji Azeez once said to me, ‘Fola, if
you must break a rule, then you must know the rule’. That is a salient point
for me every time I look at loopholes in life. Because we are humans, our first
instinct is to selfishly harness loopholes that suit us in our affairs with
self, others and the supernatural.

VENI VIDI VICI RAUF
While he served as a public office holder in Lagos State
under the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a commissioner, he was touted as the
brain behind the innovations that rocked the state. He was part of the team
that saw the creation of new local developmental centers since the 20 LGA’s
were just not enough to properly integrate the rapidly growing population of
the mega city.

COMPLEX IS MAN'S CONFLICT CAUSER
When one consider world diplomacy and relationship between
countries, especially between countries that considers themselves as world
powers, you can forced to see ‘complexes’ at play. Superiority complex between
world leaders and countries ideology that tends usually to the extreme right
has no value for such country or for the comity of countries that are likely
tied to the destiny of the one who has developed into a world power.

OSUN ELECTIONS: FEAR, FATE AND THE WHIMSICAL FARCE
Many times, phrases like “Only in Nigeria can something like
this happen” has become a recurrent decimal in our polity. The Osun State
elections is one of such where we have political office holders with records resplendent
with faults, bigotry and misdemeanor yet they find their way into INEC’s list
as candidate for a prestigious role of a governor; “only in Nigeria can
something like this happen”.

NOLLYWOOD ONLINE: THE WORLD OF NEW OPPORTUNITIES (THE TVNOLLY EXPERIENCE)
In 1992, the movie Living
in Bondage sparked sporadic excitement within some circles when the realization
dawned that an industry might just have been born. Nollywood quickly took off
like the case a baby born in a manger and of low beginning. It was far cry from
the norm; Nigerian movies now on mere Home Video Format, the lowest of all
lowest in audio and visual recording. People sniffed at them, scorned even that
the once respected and loved movie industry, which collapsed few years earlier,
has now become a place for anything-goes,
quantity substituted for quality. Such was the sorry case of the Nigerian Movie
industry later nomenclature as Nollywood.

I HAVE BURIED TWO HUSBANDS! AM I CURSED?
I sat in the
mortuary lobby waiting for the mortician to give me details of the bills for my
husband’s dead body lying in the cold room. I have been here before; yes, I have.
Few years ago I sat at another mortuary’s lobby waiting for the mortician to bring
my bills so that I can pay, pick up my dead husband, move him (it) to the burial
ground and bury.

"I AM FIGHTING FOR GOD" CLAIMS BOKO HARAM LEADER SHEKAU
The following words were used by Abubakar Shekau in his latest video berating the government and praising his cult for carrying dastardly act. After the missed murder attempt on Muhammadu Buhari's convoy yesterday in Kaduna, one is tempted to say that the lunatic rebel leader needs more of psychiatric re-evaluation than being listened too. Below are the excerpts from the video.
DON JAZZY RELEASES DOROBUCCI VIDEO
The much anticipated
video of the Marvins hit song ‘DoroBucci’ was released yesterday to the sweet
delight of fans and critic alike. Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Dr Sid, Korede Bello
and a host of other up and coming Marvin protégé DiJa and Reekado Banks featured in the video,
including the winner of the contest #ChoMarvinSuperFan Natalie Pitswe who was
amazingly stunning in the visuals.
